What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grading Crew position at Wolf Paving Co., Inc.?
Wolf Paving Co, Inc. is a family owned asphalt manufacturer and paving contractor. We currently have 2 locations operating in southern Wisconsin. If you are motivated, hardworking and wish to take control of your career, we welcome you to come and join the Wolf Family!

Essential Functions:
- Readiness to learn the operation of excavation equipment such as skid steer, compactor, and roller
- Self-motivated, with high energy level and positive attitude.
- Consult with grading foreman or Project Manager prior, during and after job to ensure proper excavated areas are addressed and completed.
- Properly maintain your equipment daily (check oil, grease, check for leaks, etc.)
- Requires a large amount of hand work around edges and corners will be expected
- Drive any type of truck with any trailer including low-boy
- Crosstrain on paving crew when needed
- General Clean up of jobsite
- Other duties may be assigned as required
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:
- Must practice safety standards at all times
- Wisconsin driver’s license and class A CDL mandatory or able to obtain one month from date of hire
- Good driving record past 3 years per NDR.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds or more.
- Must be able to work long hours and weekends as needed.
- Experience is not required. (training will be provided)
