Job Posting for Central Office Equipment Installer-Northern CA at Woltcom, Inc.

REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to perform Lead Functions on COE Work Orders with little to no supervision, perform with minimal direction at a high degree of individual initiative and technical skill, on projects of a Broad Scope.

Must be capable of performing the installation, test, turn-up and in some case placing into service, on the following Broadband and Transport Equipment :

CALIX

ADTRAN 

CISCO

FUJITSU

BTI

Must be capable of performing circuit modifications, software additions/upgrades, all power transitions on both additions and removals of circuits on working power distribution sources.

Must be familiar with all Central Office Installation Procedures and Practices (experience with any of these is a plus CenturyLink, Verizon and/or Frontier)

Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, and able to climb step and CO ladders

(There may be limited travel and this is a long term project. There are multiple locations throughout the state that may be open as well.)

Expectations:

Applicants must have their own hand tools and a Laptop with Windows 10.

Applicants must have a valid operator’s License and Safe and reliable vehicle.

Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Applicants must have at least 5 years of Experience

Wages:

Compensation from $25-$32 Per Hour based on experience level, plus travel expenses.

This is not a 1099 position, all Woltcom employees are W2 only
