Womankind has an opening for an OH CSWMFT approved Licensed Social Worker (LSW or LISW). Founded in 1975, Womankind’s mission is to provide hope, help and possibility to any pregnant woman by offering comprehensive and integrative services in a loving, nonjudgmental environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling, case management and advocacy services to clients
- Research community resources appropriate to client population and regularly update resource information
- Serve clients in a compassionate, professional and non-judgmental manner
- Coordinate client care plans with Director of Counseling and Support Services and related staff members in order to provide comprehensive, integrated health care and supportive services
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW or equivalent)- LSW
- License must be active in the state of Ohio and in good standing
- Two to three references upon request
Preferable:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW or equivalent)- LISW
- One to two years of experience in a community/mental health or related setting
- License must be active in the state of Ohio and in good standing
Hours:
- Part-time (20 hours per week) *Position will be open in January 2024
- Womankind is open Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm
- Monday Patient Clinic: 3-7pm (Required for this position)
