As a Certified Nurse Midwife for Women’s Care, you will provide patient care in clinical and hospital settings. You will manage care related to pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum care, and breastfeeding. Identify, evaluate, and address prenatal, postpartum, family planning, contraception, health promotion, preventative health screenings, routine obstetrics, gynecological services and biofeedback therapy. You will also provide comprehensive women’s health care throughout the lifespan, with an emphasis on reproductive, gynecologic, and family-centered health education while administering quality patient care. In addition, you will perform physical examinations, order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and asses’ patient’s clinical problems and health care needs.
