Child Care Teacher (Full Time)

Wonder Years Childcare Center and Preschool is located in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Our mission is to provide first rate child care services with an emphasis on the social and educational growth for the children. We are currently accepting applications for our Fall/Winter semester. We will work around students' class schedules.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Full-time & Part-time positions available in various classrooms. Candidate MUST be able to clear background check.
• Providing for the basic needs of young children. Must be mentally, physically, and emotionally able to provide adequate care and education for young children.
• Instruct and supervise children in social and developmental activities, help change them, and provide one-on-one attention when needed. He or she must help organize the classroom and plan intellectual activities for children, per the lead teacher's requests.
• Team-oriented person, with a positive attitude and willingness to get along with others in actions and words.
• Understanding of and ability to follow through with ND State Licensing requirements relating to health/safety, discipline, supervision, food/nutrition, etc.
• Shared classroom duties, such as cleaning/sanitizing of classroom and toys, prepping classroom materials, diapering/changing children, etc.
• Completion of state required training within 3 months of hire and additional yearly training.
• CPR, First Aid & AED Certificate, or able to obtain.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.'
