Summary:

 

The Senior FP&A Analyst will be a key member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, assisting in the preparation and analysis of business results on periodic basis with a key focus on distribution costs. In addition, this role will support the preparation of daily and monthly management reports and analysis, including a detail variance, root Cause and KPI analysis for the Profit & Loss (P & L) Statement.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for regular tracking, reporting and analysis of distribution costs.
  • Partner with the Supply Chain team to provide critical financial perspective and insight for business strategies and decisions
  • Budgeting and forecasting for Transportation & Warehousing function of the company, partnering closely with functional owners
  • Analyzing overhead expenditures at a GL & cost center level against budgets and providing feedback to management on the key variances.
  • Develop analytic models from scratch to perform ad-hoc analysis to provide aboard perspective on financial impact and make recommendations to Management.
  • Support the team in improving current processes through new system implementations. (SAP)
  • Building relationships with other departments to acquire data and knowledge for required analysis.
  • Preparing accruals and journal entries for period end and year end.
  • Reviewing Power Bi dashboards’ data for accuracy.
  • Any additional ad hoc analysis.

 

Requirements

  • 4-5 years financial analysis experience in a Manufacturing Environment. (preferably food industry)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • Professional designation – CPA is preferred or working towards
  • Expert level skills using Microsoft Office – Excel (at minimum: VLOOKUPS, IF, Pivot Tables)
  • Experience using SAP system.
