Graphics Engineer

Incorporates user-friendly design (i.e. labels, page layout, and terminology) and supports Section 508 compliance for an enhanced user experience. Organizes content and controls into categories or groupings in order for the user to easily find what they need (information architecture). Designs and develops screens to support user task flow (navigation). Designs and develops specific screens to allow users to know what they can do (interaction). Designs and develops graphics to be incorporated into legacy applications. Assists with the design of compelling and intuitive user interfaces by partnering and communicating with Software Engineers. Incorporates graphics design into the application layout to enhance the user experience. Provides strong support to numerous development activities concurrently with a high degree of creativity, interaction design and problem solving abilities.
Security Clearance Requirements:
This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.
Qualifications
Required Education & Years of Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Three (3) years of experience in graphics engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
