Job Posting for Inventory control at Wood Personnel Services
We are currently hiring for experienced Inventory Control positions for a distribution facility located in Smyrna, TN. These are temp to hire positions and looking to hire today.
Inventory Control Pay and Perks :
- $19.00 - $21.00 depending on shift
- 1st shift 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm Monday Friday OT as needed
- 2nd shift 3 : 00pm - 12 : 00am Monday Friday OT as needed

Inventory Control Skills and Qualifications :
- 2 years of experience operating a standup forklift
- Must have either High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience with cycle counting / inventory.
- Must be certified to operate standup forklift / narrow-aisle
- Must be computer literate and have computer experience
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, while keeping correct data
- Must have at least 6 months’experience operating a Standup Forklift in last 2 years
- Operating a Standup forklift as needed
- Cycle Counting the product daily
- Standing on feet for 8 hours plus overtime
- Replenish products to assigned stocking location
- Receiving, storing, and issuing inventory items
- Interpret inventory data and make informed decisions
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
