Machine Operator Compensation and Hours:
- $18 - $19.25 an hour based on experience
- Monday thru Thursday, with optional paid overtime on Friday
- 7am - 7pm OR 7pm - 7am
- Work both Friday and Saturday in addition, and earn $600
- Opportunities to win different prizes with 2 and 4 weeks of perfect attendance
Machine Operator Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 1 – 2 years of consecutive machining or manufacturing experience
- Ability to perform machine set-up, calibrations, repair, etc.
- Basic manufacturing math skills
- Ability to read a ruler/ tape measure
- High School Diploma or GED
Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quality inspection of parts
- Maintains the overall machine operation
- Orders components based on shop order requirements
- Performs all machine set-ups and adjustments as required
- Maintains adequate level of glue in pans, drums, or hot melt applicator hopper
- Makes all possible preparations for next scheduled order
- Works toward maintenance and cleanliness of machine and adjacent area as required
- Performs First Article of Inspection at bag set-ups; perform quality procedures (visual checks, adjustments, etc.) needed to maintain bag quality
- Assures the continuing optimum operation efficiency of the team
- Informs management of any substandard materials or any apparent mechanical or electrical repairs needed
