What are the responsibilities and job description for the CEI Inspector Aide position at Wood Plc?
Overview / Responsibilities:
Must have the following within two (2) years to meet the CEI Inspector qualification requirements:
Responsible for performing assignments in assisting CEI Senior Inspectors and CEI Inspector in the performance of their duties on roadway construction projects. Receive general supervision from the Senior Inspector or Inspector who review work while in progress.
Skills / Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent plus having the ability to earn the required qualifications and certifications within two years. Construction experience is helpful.
- Good written and verbal communication
- Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel and Outlook email.
- Valid driver’s license
Must have the following within two (2) years to meet the CEI Inspector qualification requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures)
IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
CTQP Final Estimates Level I
