Wood is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Project Controls Team in the role of Junior Estimator.
Working with the Project Controls and Project Management Teams, this position will be responsible for the completion of multi-discipline project estimates for all phases of the potential scope of work. The Junior Estimator will assist in the estimate documentation and analysis process as well as providing support to risk management. This role will provide essential support to the Project Controls function to ensure delivery targets are achieved for Wood clients.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and will strive to deliver timely solutions while maintaining a customer focus. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the field of Project Management.
Skills / Qualifications
Ideal candidates for the role of Junior Estimator should possess the following qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a technical environment.
- Experience working in an Engineering environment or in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- A Technical Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Strong MS Office skills (to include MS Excel)
- Highly effective organization and planning skills.
