Planner scheduler

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a Planner / Scheduler to join the team in Greeley, CO.

Location : Greely, CO

Schedule : 9 / 80 hybrid

Duration : 12 months with potential to extend

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare summary and detail level schedules.
• Develop full Critical Path Method (CPM) logic-generated baseline schedules for projects.
• Perform monthly progress updates and create target comparison and periodic look-ahead schedules. Monitor and track progress at detailed and summary level.
• Always ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements.
• Develop and periodically update cost and / or resource loaded schedules.
• Participate in all project schedule reviews as required at Operations Review Meetings (ORMs) or other sessions.
• Participate in the development and preparation of proposal presentations, including developing preliminary bar chart schedules and staffing charts.
• Provide support and training in the use of project and scheduling software to office and jobsite staff.
• Conduct schedule and Work-In-Progress (WIP) reviews.
• Work together with multiple teams to coordinate both schedules and models.
• Interpret data, compile reports, and deliver presentations when required
• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Mechanical, Industrial or other related engineering field
• Minimum of five years' experience in Cost Engineering, Cost Estimating, planning, scheduling, estimating and other areas of project controls in a oil and gas environment.
• Advanced experience with scheduling software applications such as Primavera on projects; large project experience is desirable.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree in engineering : Mechanical, Industrial or other related engineering fields
• Advanced experience with scheduling software applications such as Primavera on projects, large project experience desirable
• Proven written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Positive leadership style and ability to create a high morale oil & gas environment
