Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Instrumentacion & Control Engineer with extensive experience in the Power Plants industry.
- Perform the function of Senior I, C&E Engineer on large or complex projects, including Design and Supply of Power plants.
- Review of technical specifications contract scope
- Review & Approve ICE drawings.
- Coordination with other specialties
- Engineering supervision & Design supervision
- Preparation of material and man hours estimations
- Plant operation & control concept
- Boiler and auxiliary package control /monitoring system definition
- Boiler and auxiliary package safety system definition
- Equipment & Electric specification (MV Switchboard, MCC and Aux. Pannels, Motors , Grounding and lightning, Lighting and power supply, Cables, trays and accessories.)
- Hazop studies
- Supervise SIL determination and verification studies.
- Instruments datasheets , erection details and heat tracing
- Control valves datasheets
- Primary Flow elements datasheets
- Valves & Instruments List
- Blowdown Tanks process datasheets
- Safety valves stacks sizing calculation datasheets
- Instruments, local cabinets, and junction boxes layout
- Cable tray layout and material
- Junction boxes and local panels definition
- Wiring diagrams
- Lightning and earthing system definition
- Databases, instrument list, safety I/O list, DCS I&O list and software communication list
- Boiler and auxiliaries control loops, logic diagrams, automatic sequences and cause-effect diagrams and description
- PIDs diagrams and system definition
Skills / Qualifications
- Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- More than 10 years relevant experience in Power Plant Projects
- Excellent command of Spanish and English languages
- Good organization, written and oral skills
- Knowledge of ICE international Codes and Standards: ASME, NFPA, IEC, EUROCODE.
- Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required.
