Woodbury Wellness Center, Inc, a 212 bed Long Term Care Facility is seeking qualified applicants for our Payroll Clerk position. Medical knowledge not required. Applicants should be knowledgeable of general office procedures and skills including basic accounting concepts, organizational skills, computer and software skills, must have excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Applicants should be able to function well in a fast paced office setting and possess excellent multitasking skills. No previous payroll experience required.

Some job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Participate in and Process onboarding for all new hires, (including all required Federal and State and facility required directives for all new hires) , offboarding for terminations, rate/position changes, etc
- Maintain team member information including retention of time and attendance records, personnel files, and benefits elections.
- Ensure accurate payroll information, including timely enrollment in the payroll system of new hires, timely maintenance of PR records as related to PR processing, timely PR processing/preparation/distribution, required PR tax deposits, etc
- Respond to all unemployment claims and prepare documentation for appeals.
- Maintain and monitor all Workers' Compensation claims.
- Assist with new hires and annual employee benefit package open enrollment, to include Health/Dental/Life/401K, etc.
- Assist with maintenance and compliance tracking with ACA regulations
- Reconcile insurance, 401(k), and all other payroll-related deductions monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and submit all DOL, BLR, OSHA, etc. reports.
- Track all FMLA leave to ensure compliance.
- Provide support to campus management for various recruiting, payroll and/or HR issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of confidential facility information, employee PR information, personnel files, health and other records, as well as confidentiality as related to resident PHI.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
- Previous PR experience with knowledge of HR related tasks no required but may be helpful
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Detail Oriented to maintain neat, orderly and timely office
- Excellent Hospitality/Customer Service/Teamwork Skills
