Position Summary:

This position involves coordinating with the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to bring material on and off site.

1) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (listed in order of importance):

  • Prepare Shipping & Receiving paperwork for:
  • Inbound lumber
  • Finished goods shipments
  • And other Warehouse materials

2) Shipping Responsibilities:

  • Work with Site Warehouse Dept. forklift drivers to maintain material organization.
  • Efficiently and accurately help in the shipment of outgoing materials.
  • Escalate “Finished Goods” material concerns (non-confirming) to the site Quality Department.
  • Follow-up on late units that are pending shipments with MFG Leadership.
  • Manage outbound traffic flow to ensure safe and efficient handling of all materials.

3) Receiving Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming Warehouse materials.
  • Verify incoming materials for accuracy.
  • Unload, tag, and stage materials with Warehouse forklift drivers.
  • Manage inbound traffic flow to ensure safe and efficient handling of all Warehouse products.
  • Escalate “Received Material” concerns (non-confirming) to the site Quality Department.

Experience:

  • 1 year of related experience.
  • PC knowledge required. SAP experience a plus, as well as Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Maintain an organized a professional work space.
  • Able to follow procedures and work within a team and /or independently.
  • Ability to identify problems and find viable solutions.
