Job Title: PIMS (Pennsylvania Information Management Systems) Supervisor
Building/Location: Administration Building
Reports To: Chief of Technology
SUMMARY
Responsible for leading, assisting and acting as an Administrator in the area of the District’s information systems, PIMS and Child Accounting reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university (preferably in Mathematics or Computer Science); or two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with PowerSchool Student Information system
- Excellent skills in WORD and EXCEL
- Strong oral and written communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Knowledge of PIMS and Child Accounting guidelines for data requirements and ability to communicate to District staff
- Serve as core member of the District’s Data Team
- Serve as Administrator for District’s Student Information System
- Coordinate PIMS data collection
- Meet deadlines for data submission to the Pennsylvania Department of Education
- Maintain and understand PA Secure ID, PIMS and Child Accounting information
- Complete District Data Analysis and create specialized reports as necessary
- Report PA Secure ID, PIMS and Child Accounting information to/from PDE
- Communicate with representatives of PDE, the District’s information systems and School District personnel concerning PIMS system changes
- Communicate with Administration and Staff regarding academic reporting requirements
- Civil Rights Data Collection and reporting
- Present/attend in-service, conferences when appropriate/necessary
- Maintain accurate and complete records as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current driver's license and work clearances.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary, work schedule, evaluation and other conditions of employment are in accordance with current Act 93 agreement.
