• Estimated annual base pay: $82,800 - $103,500(midpoint) - $124,200(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Global Supplier Manager I, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position is responsible for supporting category sourcing and contracting function for Woodward at an enterprise level. Performance is measured by strategic initiative achievement. Those initiatives include supplier and category strategy, commercial management, and supply base consolidation. It includes all aspects of commercial and contractual management of the assigned suppliers. The key focus is the selection and development of the supply base to match Woodward's future needs, but also includes support of the business group-based purchasing functions in the areas of strategic alignment and critical issue escalation.

What You Will Be Doing

• Business to Business ERP contract administration
• Effective participation on negotiations with lead on basic contracts
• Analytics: Apply basic interpretation of data to propose appropriate action
  
  

Contract Management/Negotiation: System level price negotiation, participation in higher level negotiations in supporting role. Preparation of negotiation packages for senior negotiators.

• Supplier Relationship Management (commercial management, internal coordination, and alignment): Relationship management at a 1-1 or 1-few complexities with relationships managed at similar or slightly higher level within supplier (level by responsibility, not title)
• Technical Knowledge: Ability to understand process technology within assigned supply base
  
  

What We Are We Looking For

• 4 year bachelor degree is required, advanced business degree preferred
• 0-2 years purchasing experience
• Background in direct B2B interface preferred
• Travel is required (25%)
• Purchasing and Project Management certifications preferred
