Dog Groomer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team! The expectation for this groomer will be to have extensive grooming knowledge, and be able to execute hand scissors and breed cuts to the highest quality. As one of our Pet Groomers, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients. This includes bathing, trimming, styling, and overall grooming based on the specific needs of each pet. If you have a love for animals and the ability to create a positive grooming experience, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Bathe, brush, and groom pets according to client specifications
- Trim nails, clean ears, and perform basic hygiene tasks
- Style pets' fur based on breed standards or client preferences
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin for any abnormalities or health concerns
- Provide gentle handling and restraint techniques to ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and address any concerns or special requests
- Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport with pet owners and ensuring their satisfaction with the grooming services

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pet grooming or related animal care field is REQUIRED
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with patience and confidence
- Can handle multiple large dogs per day
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise and polished grooming results
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a friendly and professional manner
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (e.g., lifting large dogs onto grooming tables) and stand for extended periods of time
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician or completion of a formal grooming program is a plus

We are currently offering a $1,500 sign on Bonus: $750 after the first two successful weeks and $750 after 90 day probation.
