Your Role as a Groomer

As a Groomer at Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming, you’ll be essential in delivering exceptional grooming services. You’ll collaborate with pet owners to understand their preferences and provide personalized care that exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grooming services, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards or owner requests.
• Offer additional services such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing.
• Assess and report on pets' coat and skin health to owners.
• Handle all pets with care and compassion, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards in the grooming area.
• Educate pet owners on grooming techniques and recommend products.
• Keep accurate records of grooming services and any special instructions.
• Stay updated on grooming trends and best practices through ongoing training.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Previous professional grooming experience required; certification from a recognized grooming program is a plus.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of different breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.
• Skills: Excellent handling skills for pets of all sizes and temperaments; exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
