Join the pack! Woofie’s of Mid Nassau County is seeking a Pet Spa Groomer to bring the comforts and amenities of an upscale grooming salon to the privacy and convenience of clients’ homes. Our new 2023 fully equipped, self-contained mobile spa with state-of-the-art grooming equipment is designed to achieve maximum safety, comfort, and convenience. Up to a $3,000 HIRING BONUS available to qualifying candidates!
As a Woofie’s Groomer, you can focus on doing what you love without the headaches of scheduling, customer calls, billing, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Groom pets by bathing, brushing, combing, paw pad trimming, de-shedding, de-matting, drying, clipping/filing nails, cleaning ears, and deodorizing according to breed or mixed breed specifications and in accordance with Woofie’s standards
- Assess pet condition by inspecting pet
- Apply special precautions for puppies, aged, and disabled pets and ease pet anxieties and reduce behavioral issues by utilizing available resources and techniques
- Protect pets and yourself by adhering to safety policies and following procedures in the event of a pet medical emergency
- Maintain pet records by documenting services and updating information
- Clean, sanitize, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for all equipment
- Other duties as called upon.
Qualifications:
- Pet grooming experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Excellent customer service experience is necessary
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must be reliable and punctual
