Job Description: Pet Groomer

Are you passionate about working with animals? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their appearance. The Pet Groomer position is a commissioned based position.

Responsibilities:

- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims for various breeds of dogs and cats
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, and recommend appropriate grooming techniques
- Safely handle and restrain pets during grooming sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing clients' concerns and answering their questions
- Maintain accurate records of each pet's grooming history

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or completion of a formal grooming program is preferred
- Strong knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Ability to safely handle pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting heavy pets or equipment
