Accounts Payable person ASAP
Job Description
This is an entry-level Accountant position with a focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, have a winning attitude, excel at organization, and communicate well both written and orally. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work in a demanding fast-paced environment with ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-level work. The AP/AR will also be responsible for performing some other accounting-related duties that fall outside of the portfolio.
Responsibilities Include:
You will be Responsible for some aspects of Accounting including with time processing daily receipts, generating monthly charges and statements, generating service fee billings, set up, regular collaboration and communication with Managers regarding t issues, and the following:
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Prepare daily bank deposits and perform security deposit funding and bank wires and transfers as necessary when required.
- Prepare monthly bank and cash reconciliations. Prepare any journal entries to post corrections. Communicate any discrepancies with property staff.
- Responsible for cash management and weekly check run when asked.
