Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Material Handler/Stand-Up Forklift for our Arlington Heights client.
Shift: 3:45pm - 2:15am, Monday - Thursday
Pay: $16.60 per hour
Job Details:
The Material Handler is responsible for supplying machines with all needed materials
- Supply machines in the Label Department with all packaging materials i.e., cores and boxes from staging area
- Must be proficient in the operation of all material handling equipment i.e., forklift, order picker, etc.
- Responsible for making sure the proper transactions are made when moving material so that inventory can be accounted for
- Responsible for making sure all rewind and/or finished good processes are supplied with correct packaging for each production order
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs., 40% of the time
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in operating a stand-up forklift preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic math for checking quantities on freight bills, ability to read a ruler and familiarity with decimal fractions
- Good computer skills
- Must be able to work safely at various heights in warehouse
