Hourly wage of $15.63, with the opportunity to earn up to $36 per hour through commission.
Responsibilities of the Leak Detection Technician:
Conduct leak detection inspections using specialized equipment and techniques.
Identify and locate leaks in plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Perform pressure tests and dye tests to confirm leak locations.
Document findings and report to clients with detailed analysis and recommended solutions.
Collaborate with clients to develop and implement leak repair plans.
Utilize problem-solving skills to address complex leak issues.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing leak detection tasks.
Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate readings.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate schedules and tasks.
Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions from clients.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in leak detection technology.
Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and timely.
Requirements of the Leak Detection Technician:
Possession of a valid Driver’s License (Required)
Prior experience in sales and/or customer service
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with power tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable using technology extensively throughout the day.
Self-disciplined and capable of working independently.
Organized and reliable in meeting responsibilities
Ability to swim and stay submerged underwater (up to 12 feet) for extended periods.
Capable of moving, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items weighing 100 lbs.
Agility to maneuver through tight spaces, on uneven surfaces, and climb stairs.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks under challenging field conditions.
Exposure to environmental elements, chemicals, and operation of power tools and equipment
