We are looking for an exceptional Technical Instructor/Trainer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be involved in delivering virtual and onsite instructor-led training, and supporting the instructor-led services functions for our primarily customers, partners, and occasionally internal staff. You will also be responsible for:
Training Delivery:
Deliver a comprehensive suite of instructor-led events, ranging from beginner to technically advanced courses, including:
Full day public beginner/intermediate
Full day advanced technical sessions
Half day public beginner monthly virtual instructor-led sessions.
Half day private beginner/intermediate virtual sessions for new and existing customers.
Full day private beginner/intermediate sessions at customer sites. Will require travel.
Quarterly and Monthly onsite in-person instructor training at Workato HQ in Mountain view and additional sites such as Denver and NY being explored for both customers and prospects.
Coordinate with external sites and customers to provide comfortable training session environments for students.
Assess student submissions of practical exercises.
Training Material Development:
Develop training materials to support existing or future instructor-led offerings.
Maintain and update training materials in response to product updates, or changes in curriculum to stay in alignment with adjacent training in different formats.
Develop advanced instructor-led training materials to meet the growing demands of our customers.
Conduct train-the trainer programs to increase capacity.
Subject Matter Expertise:
Tap into relevant experience and Workato application knowledge to address students’ questions with care
Customer-Centric:
Possess the ability to understand and address customer inquiries and concerns, tailoring responses to their unique business use case and needs using the Workato platform.
Performance Metrics:
Drive key performance indicators, such as:
End of session surveys
Instructor Utilization %
% registration to participation
% of participation to passed exams
Testimonial collection
Continuous Improvement:
Provide recommendations to continuously improve and grow Workato’s education services.
Stay up to date with industry tools and technologies to improve the virtual and in-person training experience.
3-5 years of experience in any of the following at a SaaS/iPaaS company:
Technical Instruction
Solutions engineering or consulting (pre or post sales)
Customer-facing professional services
Preference will be given to candidates who:
Mountain View, California
Denver, Colorado
Have proficiency using the Workato application
Have worked specifically as a Technical Instructor
Have a background in iPaaS, computer science, automation, integration, or technical topics adjacent to Workato’s technology
Have a BS or Masters in Computer Sciences/Engineering
Are within driving distance to our United States office locations:
