Essential Functions of the Position:
- Load and unload individual automotive stampings from production lines/cells.
- Inspect and properly load parts into containers for storage and shipment.
- Tag, label, and track piece parts and assemblies and produce required documentation.
- Utilize Quality concepts to inspect, line changes, grade, and document part condition.
- Practice and promote Continuous Improvement of manufacturing processes and identifies possible cost reduction opportunities.
- Assist the Team Leader with the training of new employees.
- Must assist in equipment change outs and adjustments in all production areas.
- Follow all plant safety rules and regulations.
- Responsible for the quality of the product ran in their assigned area while racking, sorting, repacking, or verifying.
- Responsible for any personal transaction made through SAP to include: correct labeling, reconciling, scanning, and transferring.
- Follow and comply with all operational procedures and policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, quality, and environment programs.
