2nd / 3rd Shift - Process Technician - $28-$30 / hr, Grand Rapids, MI Are you looking to further your career and grow as a Process Technician?
Do you have automotive grade plastic injection molding process technician experience? If so, this is the job for you! Preferred Skills : Responsible for machine start-ups and verifying work area set-up is correct prior to start of manufacture.
First response to all machine, robot, and secondary equipment alarms. Ensure machines and robots are running at optimum efficiency.
Troubleshooting machine, mold, and material problems. Responsible for all die change activities not done by a Die Setter.
Verifying all inspections are complete, recorded on inspection documents and within specification. Assure proper identification on all materials;
includes manufactured products, hoppers, grinders, and material containers. Preferred Qualifications : Plastic Injection molding background with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in plastics processing.
Must be experienced in mold set-ups, troubleshooting, exposure to maintenance problems and be familiar with state-of-the-art controls on machines and robots.
In this position, the Process Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all machines are running, and all processes are in control and running to standard at all times.
Our client is looking for someone who is mechanically inclined and able to work independently. This position is for a large plastics manufacturer for the automotive, RV, and office furniture industries.
