Job Summary

This position is with Corporate Health Resources, Inc., (CHR), a WorkCare company. CHR is a nationwide occupational health examiner network service provider.

The International Scheduling Coordinator is a non-clinical scheduling position that requires knowledge of medical terminology and medical testing to successfully coordinate exams and testing for CHR's clients.

Must speak, read, and write Spanish and English fluently, as this role supports a client in South America.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule laboratory testing, immunizations, pre-placement, periodic exams.
  • Update and maintain cases in CHESS (scheduling database) for each exam continually at various stages of the exam process.
  • Provide excellent communication and customer service, including but not limited to attention to detail with proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation in all email communications, both internal and external.
  • Retrieve and review medical records for accuracy and content.
  • Update and escalate provider network changes.
  • Maintain strict guidelines when scheduling exams / testing according to the client's specific protocols.
  • Maintain and closely follow diverse Standard Operating Procedures for all clients.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and clinic providers.
  • Incorporate new policies and procedures in a timely manner.
  • Successfully work with various levels of management.
  • Interact with physicians and other medical personnel to schedule occupational exams / testing.
  • Prioritize workload and be able to go between tasks easily (multi-tasking and organizational skills a must).
  • Must be able to effectively trouble shoot issues. The client's needs are always top priority.
  • Incorporate additional assignments into workload with ease and flexibility.
  • Foster and maintain good professional relationships with co-workers to develop a well-rounded team.
  • Seek and review solutions to any problems or issues with management.
  • Performs additional duties and assumes additional responsibilities as identified by supervisor for the efficient operation of CHR and WorkCare.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the medical field.
  • Must be fluent in medical terminology.
  • Native / Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required.
  • Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to work independently with minimal to moderate supervision and direction.
  • Must be able to practice time management skills and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Meet all expected due dates, and deadlines for special projects assignments.
  • Ask for help appropriately to provide best possible service to the clients.

  • Maintain desk and workstation in an orderly manner.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability of maintaining privacy and confidentiality.

  • Must have the ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors and clients.

  • Ability to work independently as well as assisting other team members when needed.
  • Requires regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
  • Computer Skills
  • Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and learn other software as needed.
  • Physical Demands
  • Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.
  • Some bending and stretching could be required.
  • Working under stress and use of computer / phone required.
  • Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.
  • Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and / or crouch.
  • May occasionally lift and / or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Work Environment
  • Mainly indoor, office environment conditions.
  • The noise level is usually moderate.
  • Air quality is good and temperature is controlled.
  • Work Environment must be free from background noise and distraction, noise level is acceptable, temperature is controlled.

At home set up must meet all Company IT, privacy and safety requirements.

Additional Job Information

This is a full-time, remote position. The work schedule is Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-5 : 00m EST. Candidates can be located in any time zone as long as they can work the required hours of the position.

The salary for this position is $19.00-$21.00 per hour. Compensation offered to the final candidate within this range depends on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.

Must reside in and be authorized to work lawfully in the United States for any employer.
