Job description:
The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing, developing, and supporting the clinical staff. This position requires you to be a licensed mental health clinician with previous clinical management experience.
The Clinical Director is responsible for supporting and overseeing all clinical staff members. Provide a positive and supportive attitude towards clinicians, as well as the ability to think globally and be able to make decisions independently that promote the growth of the program. They will establish hiring standards, make hiring decisions, and provide clinical training to staff. They will make decisions on behalf of the company with regards to clinical staff, growth, and implementation. They will check in regularly regarding processes and/or procedures enacted, clinical issues and successes, and develop and lead training and consultation activities.
In addition, the Clinical Director will carry a clinical caseload, providing individual therapy to our client base.
Supervision and Support:
- Manage all members of clinical staff, including hiring and evaluating job performance
- Provide regular individual clinical supervision to counselors
- Provide clinical supervision to counselors and clinical interns
- Provide each staff member with specific performance expectations
- Provide administrative support, supervision, and consultation to support and broaden staff skill levels
- Provide crisis support to counselors and clients as needed
- Knowledge and Experience in Medi-Cal Billing
Planning and Coordination:
- Participate on the agency’s management team
- Conduct regular clinical team meetings
- Work closely with the counselors and admin staff to coordinate services to clients
- Maintain a working relationship with outside agencies
- Meet with the Executive Director for regular supervision
- Responsible for a strong team environment where staff thrive, learn, grow, and produce quality outcomes
- Oversee assessment and treatment planning
- Facilitates recruitment of new staff and trainees
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Education: Masters or Doctoral level degree in a counseling related field. Must engage in continued education requirements for clinical supervisors.
License: LMFT or LCSW
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
