Residential Facility Manager
POSITION SUMMARY OVERVIEW
The Facility Manager will perform supervisory and managerial job functions relating to the facility/house that they are assigned to. This person should be focused and motivated. The Facility Manager will be able to help train and supervise facility Residential Counselors and house staff. This position is tasked in taking care of each client residing in their facility/house, as well as possible. This person will also provide support to the executive staff in projects, audits and other assigned duties for the region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent GLOM in areas of contact with internal persons, external contract agencies and community contacts.
- Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with clients being served.
- Assist/Perform all areas of bedside care and first aid as needed.
- Administer medication to clients.
- Count and store medication in correlation to CCL and DHCS regulations.
- Document all medications on Centrally Stored and Destruction Records, create Medication Administration Records as per each doctor order, count and control all medication brought into and out of the facility.
- Maintain a clean and debris free workspace.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with contract agency staff, doctors, clinicians and caseworkers.
- Complete new intake and discharge procedures for al clients.
- Follow and uphold all GLOM and facility policies and procedures.
- Provide incoming shift staff with a detailed pass down relating to all issues/clients.
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning meetings as related to clients.
o Supervise and document interactions with staff and clients.
o Attend scheduled contract agency meetings as a GLOM representative.
o Demonstrate knowledge of crisis management and intervention.
o Any and all other duties as assigned by your supervisor. Essential job functions may be added to, deleted and/or changed at the discretion of management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
o One (1) year of Mental Health experience.
o Previous experience with population to be served and/or work in a similar program setting preferred.
o Understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment.
o Knowledge of psychotropic medication.
o Able to read and write clearly and accurately.
- Act as a team member providing input and reporting observations and concerns regarding client symptoms and symptom management.
o Demonstrate the ability to act a part of a team and in an appropriate manner in a crisis situation.
o Ability to direct and manage subordinate staff and lead by example.
o PPD test for tuberculosis and satisfactory results.
o CCL approved FBI and DOJ criminal background clearances.
o Free form state sanctions.
o Degree or license verification.
o Valid driver license.
o DMV printout, valid.
o CPR/First Aid/BLS certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
o Able to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
o Able to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.
o Able to handle hazardous waste (Blood borne pathogens, hospital waste, chemical &infectious) and sharp instruments and needles.
o Able to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.
o Able to provide as needed bed side care and first aid, as needed.
o Able to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
