Service Advisor
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Service Advisor will be responsible for managing the maintenance and service of commercial vehicles, developing processes and Standard Operational Procedures to ensure a better internal/external workflow process.

Work Location: Livermore
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Managing the maintenance scheduling workflow for all commercial vehicles to ensure operational efficiency
· Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection
· Consulting with repair shops about needed repairs and alternatives that can be offered in place of expensive repairs
· Managing potential cost savings and warranty protections.
· Managing existing and new vendor contracts
· Managing registration process for all commercial vehicles and ensure insurance documents are updated timely.
· Track all maintenance repairs using Fleetio software program
· Developing and implementing policies and procedures for vehicle use and maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma
· Minimum of two years as Service Advisor
· Excellent time management experience
· Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
· Excellent customer service
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Excellent presentation skills
· Ability to work with all levels of management
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
· Ability to manage priorities and workflow
· Ability to work independently and with cross functional teams
· Proficient on Microsoft Office and Excel
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
· Professional appearance and demeanor
· Travel as needed 5-10%
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
· Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.
· Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.
· Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
· Ability to work in an office environment
