About the Job:
Weaver position requires experience in a manufacturing environment. The Weaver will be responsible for setting up and operating a weaving machine. The Weaver will be required to read and understand production drawings, specifications, and production instructions. The Weaver will be responsible for setting up and operating a weaving machine. Responsibilities, Duties and Physical Requirements:
- Patrols assigned looms inspecting for wrong draw, misreads, floats and doubles card marks, proper, warp tension, jerk-ins, etc.
- Trend creels maintaining adequate supply of correct filling
- Inspect cloth for running defects
- Reset socos at shift change
- Report any unsafe conditions to supervisor
- Maintains production levels (efficiency)
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GE
- 2 Years weaving experience
- Committed to quality, safety and communication
- Team-oriented and self-directed
- Background check required
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
