Are you an experienced shipping and receiving clerk looking for a new opportunity?
In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and tracking the movement of materials and products through the supply chain. The right candidate will collaborate with vendors and other shipping/recieving personnel to ensure that all orders are processed accurately. Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift!
Schedule: 12 PM - 8 PM
Pay Rate: $18/hr.
Essential Functions:
- Operates sit-down forklift throughout shift
- Manages inventory levels and ensure the accuracy of stock records
- Process orders and ensure timely delivery to customers
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track of shipments
- Maintains accurate documentation and records related to logistics activities
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- 1 years work experience in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work harmoniously with diverse range of people.
- Proficient with using tools required for this position.
- Physically agile and dexterous.
- Proficient organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year previous order fulfillment experience is preferred
- Minimum 1 year previous forklift experience is preferred
- OSHA certification (preferred)
- Hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical skills
- Physical stamina
