What You Will Do as a Warehouse Supervisor: Image Authority is a leading supplier of high-quality workwear and safety gear, serving industries such as public safety, construction, manufacturing, and transportation. We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team and oversee our historic 10,000 sq ft facility in Bayside, New York. As a Warehouse Supervisor at Image Authority, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and organized operation of our warehouse. You will lead a small team of 1-3 warehouse employees and work collaboratively with other departments to meet customer demands while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. How You Will Make a Difference: Team Leadership Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve productivity and quality targets. Schedule and assign daily tasks to team members, ensuring optimal use of resources. Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback to team members. Inventory Management: Oversee the receiving, storing, and organizing of incoming products and safety gear. Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain inventory records. Monitor stock levels and perform regular cycle counts. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and other relevant standards. Investigate and report any safety incidents or accidents. Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse. Oversee equipment maintenance and repair needs. Communication: Liaise with other departments, including sales, customer service, and purchasing, to meet customer demands and resolve issues. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding operational updates and challenges. Skills for Success: High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred. Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Knowledge of inventory management and tracking systems. Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
