Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Full-Cycle Bookkeeper to join our finance team. As a Full-Cycle Bookkeeper at World Amenities, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company with a global footprint.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including processing vendor invoices, maintaining AP Aged, ensuring accuracy, and timely payments.
- Handle accounts receivable tasks, including generating and sending invoices, posting payments, and managing customer accounts and AR Aging.
- Prepare and distribute purchase and sales invoices to clients in a timely manner, maintaining proper documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records regularly to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Monitor cash flow, forecast cash needs, and coordinate with management to optimize liquidity.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end management reporting package.
- Support year-end financial close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Work closely with other members of the finance, purchasing, graphics and administrative team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Perform other ad hoc requests from management and other departments, such as preparing financial reports, conducting research, and assisting with special projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Full-Cycle Bookkeeper or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in the hospitality industry or manufacturing/distribution related field is a plus.
