World Electric is hiring a Driver Pro to join our team!
As a World Electric Driver, you will be the face of the company driving a company provided truck to transport materials to our valued customers. This is a non-CDL position. Your responsibilities will include operating company equipment in a safe manner, while ensuring that our product is in perfect condition and ready for our customers. The responsibilities listed below are encompassing of a Driver but may vary accordingly.
Primary Requirements:
- Ensure truck is in safe operating condition and maintains a clean appearance.
- Communicate with sales associates or manager through problem solving to meet customer needs.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Construct pallets based on delivery area preventing stock from being damaged on delivery.
- Acts in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and World associates.
- Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment.
Other Skills/Requirements:
- Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks.
- Ability to add and subtract units of measure, using whole numbers.
- Knowledge of warehouse technology including the use of RF guns and warehouse inventory software.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Use of personal protective equipment (i.e. safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed or composite shoes) as required for the assigned work area.

Physical Demands:
Continuous mental and visual alertness to maintain safety and achieve accuracy. Requires flexibility and mobility in body movements. Frequently requires standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching with arms, and constant use of hands.
Work Environment:
The warehouse consists primarily of rows of large upright racks on a hard surface flooring. Most work is performed in the company vehicle. The RDC will have climate control features to account for seasonal weather with an emphasis on sustainability.
