Leader of Identity Access Management (IAM)
IAM Leader is responsible for driving, managing and overseeing our organization's identity and access management (IAM) strategy. The role will require leading Agile engineering teams and work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT Application and Infrastructure teams, Information Security and Compliance, and business stakeholders, to ensure our IAM program is effective and compliant with industry standards while providing exceptional user experience.
As Leader of IAM, you will drive our Identity maturity transformation covering PIM (Privileged Identity Management), PAM (Privileged Access Management, IGA (Identity Governance Administration), idP (identity Providers), Authentication, Authorization, and Access Services across our internal/external products and services. You will drive identity governance across our public cloud AWS/Azure as well as Active Directory services to ensure integration and automation across single identity service for human and non-human accounts.
The leader will be a key member of cloud-focused and IAM-focused working groups providing thought leadership, establishing standards, and bridging the gap between existing enterprise processes and new cloud-based processes and procedures.
Being a people leader of this highly technical space requires the role to understand and drive solutions across platforms and products, so teams can leverage Infrastructure as code, automation, and API's that drive scalable and modern development of features and solutions. In this role, you will drive an Agile team to embrace DevSecOps practices and enable software developers to easily adopt the use of all identity offerings through established standards defined by Enterprise and Solution Architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform, build and maintain the organizations Identity Services offering with both security and user experience in mind.
- Drive security-related operational architecture architecture to achieve our IAM strartegic goals.
- Lead a technical team of project and operations resources to deliver on your priorities while providing thought and organizational leadership.
- Drive and maintain the identity Guild and Chapter bringing passionate and stakeholders together to help define and shape the future of Identity in the organization.
- Govern and secure compliant multi-account AWS environment
- Mentor, train and enable engineers to follow high quality engineering practices Lead key project initiatives across the identity space driving continuous integration and continuous delivery practices to manage automation products
- Establish and maintain metrics and KPI's to measure maturity and growth, overall health, risks and other values related to the progress and growth across IAM.
- Work and collaborate with technical and functional owners of related technology spaces, regional operations leaders, subject matter experts, and vendors to define creative solutions while maintaining employee experience , cybersecurity and financial commitments.
- Design, implement, and manage Identity processes and procedures based on industry and security standards to ensure consistent and efficient delivery Identity services.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits across the identity service offering to ensure they are operating effectively and efficiently.
- Develop positive relationships with key stakeholders and vendors.
- Provide training and support to end-users and IT teams to ensure they understand and use of Identity tools and processes effectively.
- Create and publish metrics, including KPIs and OKRs for management on Idenity tools, processes, and adherence.
Job Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in identity and access management, with a focus on managing IAM programs for large organizations.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and frameworks related to identity and access management.
- Technical experience in IAM products, protocols, access control mechanisms, protection, and compliance.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in the development of successful products and services.
- Demonstrated experience managing and deploying IAM technologies and solutions, including identity and access governance, privileged access management, and multi-factor authentication aligned with the ability and experience of defining technology strategy to best enable and drive the business.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and facilitation skills for communicating at all levels (employees and leaders); including strong presentation skills.
- Experience of driving large scale, enterprise wide transformation, including the culture and mindset of a group to embrace new and improved ways of using technology.
- Demonstrated presence to effectively represent IT and the corporation externally and to key vendors. Interaction with technology officers and internal customers will be an important component.
- Comfort with ambiguity and able to independently drive resolution of issues and challenges.

Educational Background:
- A Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field or equivalent experience.
