IT Internship Program - Summer 2020
Spend your summer in Miami Florida with World Fuel Services! We’re seeking a large cohort of highly motivated college students for our 2020 IT Summer Internship program. The program is the must have intern experience and gives students the opportunity to a cutting-edge team in an Agile environment. Headquartered in beautiful Miami, Florida, World Fuel Services is a diverse energy management, green energy and global fuel logistics Fortune 100 company.
We’re driving innovation by focusing on Global Data Networks, Cloud, Robotics and Machine Learning.
Assignments will be in one of the following areas:
- Software development (Java, Angular, & Springboot)
- Business Analysis
- Cloud programming
- AI/ML programming (Python)
- Data Analytics
- Data Science
During the program, Interns will get exposure to Senior IT Leadership and will have the opportunity to present their internship project outcomes at the end of the internship.
Job Requirements:
- Junior or Senior students currently enrolled in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or related degree program.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better.
- Some experience in software programming: Java/Angular/Python/JavaScript/HTML/CSS or other Object Oriented programming experience.
- Understanding of information technology; including hardware, O/S, database technologies, middle-ware, micro-serviced application architecture and Continuous Delivery.
- Understanding of business fundamentals.

- Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Work under minimal supervision and adapt to a dynamic, changing environment.
