This position consists of ensuring that Refugee Medical Assistance is administered to eligible clients in a timely and accurate manner. This position will work with various members of the WRNTX team to support their direct work with refugees and other immigrants.
Compensation: $ 18.00 - $20.00 DOE
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as primary point of contact regarding any past and current enrolled clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact between WR-NTX and USCRI
- Stay current on policies and practices involving RMA
- Stay current on ORR eligibility policies
- Stay current on TXOR requirements regarding RMA
- Assist the Intake and Eligibility Specialist as needed
- Complete RMA applications for eligible clients using the eRED system
- Respond to USCRI requests for corrections in eRED system, as needed
- Notify clients of approvals, denials, termination
- Comply with internal client data tracking procedures
- Maintain detailed and accurate case notes
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of detailed case files and required forms
- Refer clients to other programs and services, as needed
- Assist in communicating with clients about eligibility and intake/enrollment
- Other duties in support of programs may be assigned

- Fluent in refugee languages preferred, but not required (Spanish, Dari, Arabic Swahili)
- Advanced competency in the use of Microsoft Office
REQUIREMENTS:
- Mature and personal Christian faith
- Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
- Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
- Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
- Cross-cultural experience strongly preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- General office setting
- Great lengths of time working on computer, reading from computer screen, entering information, standing at copier or fax machine, and some time on the phone or in skype meetings may be required
- Year-end archiving activities involve repeated lifting and bending
- Physical, emotional and intellectual demands
- Equipment used: Employee computer (desktop or laptop), printer, and copier
