RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Dell OpenManage Enterprise to streamline infrastructure management processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and operational procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts, workflows, and integrations within Dell OpenManage Enterprise.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of automation solutions to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation engineering and Dell OpenManage Enterprise.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, preferably with specific experience in Dell OpenManage Enterprise.
  • Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Redfish API), and infrastructure automation tools.
  • Experience in designing and implementing automation solutions for server provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring using Dell OpenManage Enterprise.
  • Familiarity with other infrastructure management tools and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dell OpenManage Enterprise certification or relevant certifications in automation and infrastructure management.
  • Experience with other automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
