Title: API Automation Tester
Location: Remote
Duration/Type of Job: 6 months CTH
Job Requirements:
Job Description - API Automation role:
- Must have proven experience with Rest Assured & Java
- Proficient in database querying, data creation, and data validation
- Strong knowledge and extensive experience in various types of testing (Unit, Integration, API, Smoke, System testing) is required
- 6 years of experience developing test automation solutions and testing APIs
- Experience establishing Test Automation Frameworks and creating reusable components libraries while implementing effective quality assurance strategies and best practices
- Experience with selections from the following list of tools and technologies (MUST):
- Rest Assured or equivalent web-service automation
- JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber/Gherkin
- Gradle, Maven
- GitHub, Jira, IntelliJ, Eclipse
- Test data management
- Jenkins or an equivalent CI/CD tool
- Kubernetes and microservices, Restful APIs
- Serenity BDD (Preferred)
- Proactive, self-motivated, and independent with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to collaborate at various levels and to find solutions
- Coach and mentor others on test automation tools and coding practices
