Job Description
World Wide Technology is looking for Wireless Engineer. This job is part of WWT’s Strategic Resourcing services. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partners.
Job Title: Wireless Engineer
Job Location: Los Angeles, CA or San Diego, CA.
Job Mode: first 3-4 weeks in LA and SD then largely remote
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months plus.
Job Description:
-Focus on WLAN; very little LAN (32 total sites, 30 are WLAN)
-Tech experience needed
-Aruba controllers, queuing and building of wireless APs
-Aruba switches
-Replacing older APs
-Change mgmt.
-Some mid-layer 3 exp but primarily layer 2
-Aruba 3810s and cxline
-Will be required to be onsite occasionally the first 3-4 weeks in LA and SD then largely remote
-Interview process: 2 rounds (1 meet and greet/technical; 1 fully technical)
-Must have strong communication
