We are a recruiting agency recruiting for our client, Sidco Filter Technologies.
Objectives: The objective of this Inside Sales position is to optimize the alignment of customer needs and Sidco products for each customer. Also, to maximize each account through sustaining, upselling and cross selling the Sidco filter products that will positively impact each customers business.
Responsibilities/Measurable Results
Respond to Incoming Leads: 80% of your day will be spent responding to incoming leads and developing quotes that align to the needs.
Quote Follow Up: 20% of your day will be spent following up on quotes and touching base with existing customers to ensure the have all of the filters needed in their business. Maximize what can be provided (types of filters, blanket orders, etc.).
Manage all deals in the Quote System. Track customer follow ups, wins and losses. Track customer outreach for new deals or with new customers.
Targeted Account Expansion: Under the direction of management an account or group of accounts can be targeted for further proactive expansion. Sidco has more than 400 accounts and this role can expand into greater responsibilities with existing customers.
Business Case Development: Develop a business case(s) describing why this account should buy more from our organization. This is applicable in each sales/customer transaction.
Developing Expansion/Penetration Plans. The expansion plan includes a combination of:
1. Quality of services reviews (peer and top down)
2. Cross selling to higher or adjacent business units
3. Referral generation from known contacts and procurement
Expansion Plan Execution: Each account must have a detailed 30 day expansion plan. All plans are reviewed weekly and re-planned monthly.
Competitor Management: A competitor evaluation and management strategy are developed and executed for each major account with management input and supervision.
Qualifications:
· Customer Service/Account Management or Inside Sales experience in manufacturing/industrial industries.
· Exceptional phone communication abilities and desire. Connecting on the phone remains highly effective in our industry and will be part of daily communications.
· Effective email communications for servicing, upselling and cross selling to customers.
· Leverages technology to effectively track and manage accounts and communicate with customers. (MS Office, Marketing/Sales Automation, etc.).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
