About The Role

We are seeking a summer intern to support our technology team. Reporting to the CTO, you’ll work across the team to help deliver new methods of predicting factory environmental impacts. Areas where you will gain experience include machine learning, sustainability, and data analysis. The ideal candidate is a student in data science, mathematics, computer science, or a related field. You are curious, open, and willing to learn. You seek out opportunities to help others and have a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. No job is too big or too small. You can find the patterns and insights in data, and extrapolate those to interesting and innovative solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead the work into exploring the applicability of Machine Learning to a specific subset of problems dealing with predicting factory impacts and performance.
• Write code to parse and modify data as required in support of a project goal.
• Work closely with the technology and data teams to obtain context, content, and access to our diverse and robust set of data.
• Surface new ideas and insights for potential future projects.

• Proven track record using Machine Learning to solve specific domain problems
