Located at Grandscape in The Colony, WorldSprings is an outdoor hot springs experience offering a variety of mineral pools from around the world that promote health, wellness and social ambience. It’s where wellness meets social. There are family friendly pools, adult-only pools, and cabanas as well as saunas, cold plunge pools and a spa offering massages, body treatments, and facials. Our guests can also enjoy delicious and nutritious food and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages delivered directly to them with the latest technology. Position Overview: Food and Beverage Runners deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen/bar to customers' rapidly and accurately, acting as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff. Communicating food/beverage orders to cooks and bartenders, paying attention to priorities, inspecting dishes and drinks for visual appeal and to ensuring proper preparation and serve at the proper temperature in a timely fashion is of utmost importance. *Plus tip share. Job Summary: Maintain verbal communication with cooks and bartenders to check on the status of orders. Keep staff well-informed and alert the waitstaff when the kitchen or bar is out of a specific ingredient and relay special requests from the waitstaff to the kitchen or bar. Meet presentation standards by inspecting every plate/drink to make sure the proper garnishes have been applied and that dishes/utensils are free of smudges and spills before being delivered to the customer. Keep kitchen areas clean and order in all cooking, prep, and food storage areas, keeping these areas neat, well organized, and stocked with ingredients. Adhere to sanitation standards to make sure all kitchen and waitstaff follow sanitation standards keeping themselves, their tools, and their work areas clean and presentable. Assist all staff as needed and assisting with management tasks facility-wide.
