What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Data Analyst position at Worldwide Clinical Trials?
SUMMARY: Data-driven marketing is the new normal as it relates to how we go to market at Worldwide Clinical Trials. Reporting to the Associate Director, Global Digital Marketing, we are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to lead the discovery, validation, and quality monitoring regarding our data-driven marketing programs and processes. The ideal candidate should be energetic, communicative, intellectually curious, and should be passionate about continued learning.
Your primary responsibility is to support our inbound marketing efforts generated from related marketing programs. You will lead the qualification and disqualification of all inbound data and work closely together with our Sales Development team to ensure there's an effective and efficient handoff. You will also be responsible for assisting the Sales team in interpreting their data, providing insights regarding what the learnings are from the analysis, and guidance on how to action their findings. You will also play a critical role in tracking the influence marketing has throughout the opportunity and sales lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with data validation efforts to ensure Worldwide's data contains accurate findings & insights.
- Assist in the execution of various aspects of digital marketing campaigns to maximize outreach, engagement, and campaign performance.
- Manage website chat, inbound lead qualification and working queues.
- Own Marketing Alias Inbox – triaging and actioning all associated responses.
- Assist with database marketing.
- Add new leads to our database, assisting with list building for marketing outreach.
- Assist with campaign-related direct mail fulfillment.
- Website updates – help manage and update content on the corporate website.
- Link Building/Updating: research and find websites for promotional partnerships, corporate listings (update current listings)
- Assist in the creation of forms, emails, and graphics and help manage all digital assets.
- Help compile reports and statistics for all digital marketing campaigns, contests and initiatives.
- As required, assist with special projects related to important company initiatives (social media, digital marketing, email marketing, mobile programs, etc.).

- Demonstrable proficiency with data management.
- Proficient use of Excel - adding data and updating spreadsheets, creating new spreadsheets to address a certain problem or show data in a meaningful way.

- Ability to understand business needs and marketing operations in a marketing organization.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher, with concentration in Marketing, Business, or a similar field of study.
- 1+ years’ experience analyzing consumer behavior and marketing data.
- Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- 1+ year(s) experience with: CRM platforms (Salesforce).
- Proven strength in QA'ing, interpreting, analyzing, synthesizing, and reporting on large data sets.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in marketing automation (Marketo), email marketing principles including campaign design, targeting, testing, development, execution, and measurement a plus.
