Summary:

Worley is seeking an experienced Manager of Engineering to join our team. As an integral part of the company, you will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with other departments to deliver successful projects.   As Engineering Manager, you will have opportunities for growth within the company, including the ability to mentor and develop your team, as well as take on additional responsibilities in project management.   Your key responsibilities will include managing project timelines and budgets, overseeing design reviews, and ensuring quality standards are met. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:

  • As an Engineering Manager at Worley, you will oversee the Mechanical Engineering team and ensure that all projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • You shall develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines, and monitor progress to ensure successful completion.
  • We expect you to collaborate with internal teams and external clients to identify client needs and deliver effective solutions that exceed expectations.
  • You will lead technical analysis and problem-solving efforts, providing guidance and support to your team as they troubleshoot issues.
  • We're looking for someone who can create a positive work environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and collaboration among team members.
  • As an Engineering Manager, you'll need to stay current on industry trends and advances in technology to keep our team ahead of the curve.
  • You will be responsible for managing resource allocation and ensuring that each member of your team has what they need to succeed in their role.

What you will bring

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements: 

  • You should have some experience in engineering management roles.
  • We expect you to have strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.
  • You must possess excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to identify solutions to complex issues.
  • We require you to have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • You should have solid project management skills with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • We value creativity and innovation. You should be able to think outside the box and come up with new ideas to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • You must have a deep understanding of industry regulations and standards and ensure compliance with these regulations.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Preferred:

  • Experience in related field.
