Tempel Steel Company is seeking a Control Systems Design Engineer in Chicago, IL with the following requirements: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent degree. 2.5 years related experience. Required skills: Program Rockwell Series PLC including legacy PLC’s and Servo Drives to execute machine functions, troubleshoot system down situations, and modify programs to help production (1.5 yrs); Perform HMI programming to Create User interfaces for operators to run production and for data analysis (1.5 yrs); Design and maintain Networks - Data highway, Ethernet, DH485, serial to analyze production data and maintain plant wide communication (1.5 yrs); Design Electrical Schematics using AutoCAD for commissioning new equipment and maintain records for maintenance support (1.5 yrs); Provide Process Troubleshooting, Project management, implementation, and training for capital projects from design to production (1.5 yrs).
