What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Planning Analyst position at WOW!?
The Financial Planning Analyst will be responsible for financial and operational reporting, financial and business case analysis, budget development, implementation and tracking, and other areas of operational finance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators; highlight trends and analyze causes of unexpected variances
Provide financial planning support to our executive leadership team, VP's, and Directors
Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making
Assist with the development and management of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools
Act as a critical resource for information and analytics in order to support and drive strategic decisions
Develop and prepare financial reports for Business Units, and Functional Leaders and assist in the preparation of presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance with 2-5 years experience or an equivalent combination of both education and experience
Required to have knowledge of accounting principles and experience with financial modeling
Proficient in working with and manipulating large amounts of data using Execl
Ability to interpret and communicate financial issues and analysis
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Must be able to manage conflicting priorities and to meet established timelines while maintaining accuracy in their work
Must possess an approachable and professional demeanor, have highly effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a team based environment and to interface with all levels of employees
Computer Skills:
Advanced level experience in all Microsoft products, especially Excel (including V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Sum-ifs) & PowerPoint. Experience in Google G Suite, NetSuite and TM1 Reporting preferred.
