YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL:
At WPP, technology is at the heart of everything we do, and it is WPP IT’s mission to enable everyone to collaborate, create and thrive. WPP IT is undergoing a significant transformation to modernise ways of working, shift to cloud and micro-service-based architectures, drive automation, digitise colleague and client experiences and deliver insight from WPP’s petabytes of data.
To carry out the effective and efficient everyday operations of Systems Support for WPP AUNZ. A trusted pair of hands to deal with systems’ issues as they present, and a trusted resource to assist with project work when needed.
WHAT YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME DOING:
• Monitor incoming support Helpdesk queries
• ERP system desktop general support (phone/email)
• Process compliance reviews, action and manage documentation
• Audit log reviews and action
• Masterdata maintenance
• Identify ERP system usage weaknesses and recommend solutions
• Ongoing staff training on ERP systems
• Adhoc data extraction and reporting writing
• Escalation of queries to senior support staff or third-party software supplier
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Tertiary education in accounting/business required
- Experience in the advertising, marketing or media communications industry
- Background in ERP systems, specifically Maconomy and/or Mediaocean (BCC) but other industry ERP’s would be considered
- Strong communication skills
- Technically minded
- High levels of proficiency in Excel (eg. Macros, templates, Vlookups, conditional formatting)
- Proven abilities to manage competing priorities
